I've been fat my whole life. I've never been happy fat, but always made one excuse or another to avoid working out. But it's time for a change. Time to get this weight off. Time for a complete lifestyle makeover.
This blog exists to record my progress, my ups and downs and interesting or relevant posts relating to healthy lifestyles.
I greatly appreciate any encouragement or feedback.

Today is the first day that I achieved 200g of protein! Yippe!
I am proud to announce that I am down 3% body fat and 4 lbs since I started this new aggressive program :)
I will probably regret this when I go to the gym twice tomorrow to make up for it, but I really wanted a burrito and beer. I decided to compromise and opt for a light beer and vegetarian burrito.
I decided to cheat a little bit today and eat some Vietnamese food. I’ve been having mad cravings. So I get to make it up in the gym tonight with 45 mins of cardio.
It was a good cardio + abs day. I even managed to drag my Mom to the #gym with me. (at 24 Hour Fitness)
It’s Day 10 and I’m still going strong on my new transformation. Because I had some personal training sessions left, I am working on a custom program now instead of the Bodybuilding.com program, but I am still doing the Bodybuilding.com diet and supplementation.
Once I am done with my personal training sessions, I plan to return to the Bodybuilding.com program and tighten up the diet a bit to be higher protein. Eating 200g of protein per day without eating tons of protein powder is a lot harder than it sounds.
So far I’ve only cheated one day, last Saturday, and it was minor. I had some Coconut Sorbetto which had some sugar in it, but we did a lot of walking and hiking which hopefully worked it off.
That’s all I have to report for now. I’m amazed that people actually watch these videos.
I’m not huge on fish, but I’m trying to eat more of it because it’s a good source of lean protein. I bought some pre-marinated fish from Costco just because it’s easy and so far I am very happy with it.
The Lemon Pepper Cod is absolutely amazing. It melts in your mouth, is super moist and doesn’t taste fishy.
The Sweet Chili Lime Mahi Mahi was very good too. It was slightly fishy and not as light as the cod, but overall it was really good. It was even good the next day reheated.
Last night we had Mahi Mahi with Orzo (pictured). Yum!
I’m super super sore today. And too many carbs.
Going to personal training in the morning. I’m prepared to get my butt kicked even more.
I know beans are a super food and super good for you, but I didn’t realize they have to many carbs. Should I be eating them if I want to bulk?
Apparently there is something called Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness where you’re not sore the next day, but you’re super sore the 2nd day. Well that is me today.
Oh well. Nothing a couple aspirin and some protein powder won’t fix.
