I've been fat my whole life. I've never been happy fat, but always made one excuse or another to avoid working out. But it's time for a change. Time to get this weight off. Time for a complete lifestyle makeover.

Went to the gym at 6am. Pretty painful. Gonna keep it up, but I hope it gets better.

In other news:

  1. Dropped Weight Watchers. Based on research it is an effective program, but I didn’t find the meetings all that helpful and I can use myfitnesspal.com for free as a tracker.
  2. Lost 2 more pounds. 263 at my weigh-in today from 265.
  3. Eggs and turkey bacon are really good.

Dropping Weight Watchers

I’ve decided to drop Weight Watchers and just count calories on my own with myFitnessPal. Going to Weight Watchers meetings do not seem that effective to me, I literally sit there for an hour to listen to old ladies whine about their ailments and watch a falsely positive leader spell stuff wrong on the board.

I already know about eating healthy, exercise and nutrition theory - it’s just a matter of DOING it.

Basically, I’m paying $40 a month to waste an hour of my time each week and to use Weight Watcher’s flash-based calorie counter tool which I already get free from myFitnessPal.

So I think the decision is self-evident. Now to go buy a scale.

Whole Wheat Bagel Thin with Peanut Butter & Homemade Applesauce
Same recipe as yesterday, except I sauteed 3 medium apples with cinnamon and a little bit of honey last night, refrigerated overnight and put on top today.
Yum!
